A Florida resident who has had a nagging cough for 28 years was set to have surgery after a doctor found a lump in her throat that they feared was cancer. It turns out it was just a fruit pit that she inhaled accidently in 1984. The fruit was a nispero which kind of looks like a mango. The pits are pretty big too.

• A KFC in Australia was fined $8 million dollars in a food poisoning case that left a girl brain damaged. After catching salmonella from a chicken wrap in 2005 the girl went into a coma and eventually became brain damaged.
